On a hot Spring morning in 1972, at the Boise (Idaho) Eight Mile Road Run, Istvan began a journey of long distance running.  Little did he know at the time  ... this journey would span more than 39 years and include more than 150 half- and full-marathons.  However, after suffering a serious injury in 2011, his race strategy changed from "running with walk breaks" to "jogging and walking".  And while it does take a bit longer to reach the finish line ... his joy of participating is still the same.

Who is this person ... and why is he still running (walking) after all of these years?
